On Monday, a suspicious explosion took place in a pharma plant in Sangareddy, Telangana. So far, the death toll in the blast in the drug factory is being reported to be 36. A total of 31 bodies have been recovered so far. While five people have died in the hospital. More than 30 people are reported to be injured.

Let us tell you that on June 30, there was an explosion in the reactor unit of the factory. This accident took place at Sigachi Industries located in Pasumilaram Industrial Area around 8.15 am to 9.30 am. After this accident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to provide two lakh rupees to the families of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees to the injured from the PM National Relief Fund.
CM Revanth Reddy visited the spot
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reached the pharmaceutical unit located in Pasumilaram today i.e. on Tuesday. Where he visited the pharma factory (Telangana Pharma Plant Blast). The rescue operation has been going on for more than 24 hours. The Chief Minister also talked to senior officials about the explosion.
‘One crore compensation will be given’
The CM said, “The state government will talk to the company management to give compensation of one crore rupees to the families of the deceased. I have issued orders that compensation of one crore rupees each will be given by both the government and the company. Also, the state government will give one lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased and 50,000 rupees to the injured.”
The blast was so strong that the workers fell several meters away
According to a laborer, he came out after completing the night shift at 7 am on Monday. Meanwhile, the staff of the morning shift had gone inside. Mobiles are confiscated during the shift. Due to which no news of the people working inside could be found.
According to eyewitnesses, the blast was so strong that the workers present there fell about 100 meters away. Due to this explosion, the reactor unit was completely destroyed.
