The series of landslides on the Pauri-Kotdwar National Highway (NH-534) is not stopping. On Tuesday morning, once again heavy debris fell on the road near Gumkhal, due to which the route was completely blocked. This incident of hill cracking was captured on camera.

Due to the landslide, the traffic between Kotdwar and Pauri has come to a complete halt. In the video you can see how rocks and soil are falling down the hill rapidly. The local administration and concerned agencies have reached the spot and started the work of removing the debris with the help of JCB and other machines.
Relief and rescue work continues
Due to rain, incidents of hill cracking have been coming to the fore in this area for the last few days. The road has been blocked due to debris in many parts adjoining Gumkhal earlier also. The administration has appealed to the passengers passing through this route to be cautious. At present, relief and rescue work is going on.
