Mohammed Shami gets a big shock! He will have to pay so many crores to his wife Haseen Jahan as alimony

Mohammed Shami, the best player of the Indian team, is in the headlines these days for his personal life. In the year 2014, the fast bowler married Hasin Jahan. A year later, their daughter Ayra was born. But in 2018, news of discord between the two started coming.

His wife made serious allegations against him like domestic violence, match fixing, dowry harassment etc. For this, the wife had lodged a complaint against Shami and his wife at Jadavpur Police Station in Kolkata. Hasin had demanded about Rs 10 lakh in monthly alimony. But her demand was not approved in the lower court. Now the Kolkata High Court has given a big decision on this.

Mohammed Shami gets a big blow from the High Court

The Kolkata High Court ordered Shami to pay alimony of Rs 4 lakh every month for both his wife and daughter. This will be implemented from the last year. Which means that Shami will have to pay more than three crore rupees by adding the arrears of the period.

Will have to pay so many crores for alimony to wife Hasin Jahan

Let us tell you that the High Court bench of Justice Ajay Kumar Mukherjee gave the verdict on the previous day i.e. 1 July 2025. In which there is an order to give 1.5 lakh rupees for wife Hasin and 2.5 lakh rupees for daughter Ayra every month. This decision has been given on Hasin’s petition. She had challenged the lower court’s decision of the year 2023 in the High Court. In which Shami was ordered to give 50 thousand to his wife and 80 thousand to his daughter.
