The rape case related to the family of BJP leader Anamika Sharma, which came to light a month ago in Haridwar, had shaken the entire state. Now, the Mahila Congress has opened a front in this case and met the victim and assured her of all possible support.

The state Mahila Congress President Jyoti Rautela and other officials of the organization met the victim. The BJP leaders assured the teenager that the Congress party is fully standing with her. They consoled the teenager and said that she need not be afraid and the Mahila Congress is with her in the fight for justice.

After meeting the victim, Rautela also met Haridwar SSP Pramod Singh Dobal. During this, she demanded a fair and speedy investigation in the case. She also appealed to ensure the safety of the teenager. The Congress called this incident shameful and inhuman.
