Uttarakhand: Sex racket busted in Haridwar, two real sisters found in shameful condition; started hiding their faces as soon as they saw the police

The team of the Anti Human Trafficking Cell of the police raided a hotel in Sidkul area and busted a sex racket. Apart from four call girls including two real sisters from Punjab, the hotel owner and two customers were arrested from the hotel, while the kingpin from Roorkee absconded. A case has been registered against the accused in Sidkul police station. They will be presented in the court on Wednesday morning.

SP City Pankaj Gairola said that under Operation Lagaam being run in view of the Chardham Yatra, Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Doval has given instructions to take action at various levels. Under the leadership of Anti Human Trafficking Cell in-charge Inspector Vijay Singh, the team of woman sub-inspector Rakhi Rawat and head constable Rakesh, along with the police of Sidkul police station, raided Hotel HMT Grand near Danso Chowk.

Two men and women were found in objectionable condition in different rooms. Objectionable material was also recovered from the rooms. Police arrested hotel owner Tanjit resident of Rawli Mahdood, customer Deepak resident of Kurdi, Mangalore and Arjun resident of Jarifpur, Nahtaur district Bijnor besides four women. These include two real sisters from Amritsar Punjab.

The third woman is also a resident of Amrit Punjab, while the fourth woman came from Delhi. All of them have been involved in prostitution for a long time. During interrogation, the name of Nitin resident of Nanheda Roorkee came out as the kingpin.

Inspector Vijay Singh said that Nitin was doing the entire work from bringing call girls from other states to getting customers for them. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of immoral trafficking. Inspector Sidkul Manohar Singh Bhandari said that the accused will be presented in the court on Wednesday morning.

The racket was caught in the hotel earlier also

The police had raided this hotel about one and a half years ago and caught a sex racket. The gang leader Nitin calls himself a social worker. The police have found out that the accused is connected with flesh traders in many states. Nitin had brought the four women from Punjab and Delhi to Haridwar. A police team has started searching for him.
