Former CM Jairam Thakur said that his focus is currently only on relief, rescue and rehabilitation work. Jai Ram Thakur said, “I have been in the disaster-affected areas for the last three days. Some people are creating unnecessary confusion on this.” He said that the maximum damage has been done in Thunag and Janjheli areas of Mandi district. “I had definitely said that as soon as road connectivity is restored, Kangana ji should also come here. As an MP, it is her responsibility to visit the area and stand with the people trapped in crisis.” Jai Ram Thakur clarified that this is not the time for politics, but to help the affected people.

JP Nadda also responded

Union Minister JP Nadda reacted to the entire controversy during his Bilaspur visit. In Bilaspur, BJP National President JP Nadda, during a press conference, asked the media why the Mandi MP remains absent whenever a natural disaster strikes Himachal Pradesh?
