We have come together to stay together – Uddhav Thackeray
Uddhav Thackeray said, “We have come together to stay together.” After two decades, Uddhav and Raj shared the public stage and organized a Vijay Sabha called ‘Awaaz Marathicha’ to celebrate the withdrawal of two government orders issued earlier by the government to include Hindi as the third language from class one in state schools.
‘Three language formula separates Mumbai from Maharashtra…’
At the same time, Raj Thackeray said that the three language formula implemented by the state government was an indication of its plan to separate Mumbai from Maharashtra. He said this in the presence of his cousin Uddhav Thackeray.
‘…which even Balasaheb Thackeray could not do’
While addressing the ‘Vijay’ rally, Raj Thackeray jokingly said that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has brought him and Uddhav together and this is something that even Balasaheb Thackeray could not do.
‘The government withdrew the decision due to the unity of Marathi people’
The MNS chief said in front of Uddhav sitting on the stage, “Due to the strong unity of Marathi people, the Maharashtra government withdrew the decision on the three-language formula. This decision was an indication of the plan to separate Mumbai from Maharashtra.”
