Uttarakhand: Drugs recovered from a traveller who had come to visit Kedarnath Dham, NCB team arrested him

The Narcotics Control Bureau team has recovered drugs from a pilgrim who had come to visit Kedarnath Dham. The NCB team has recovered LSD drugs from the pilgrim. The pilgrim is said to be from Maharashtra.

Giving information about the case, SP Akshay Prahlad Konde said that based on the information received from the arrested accused regarding the seizure of drugs in different parts of the country, the NCB team had reached Phata on July 3. The team conducted a raid and searched Shashikant resident who had come to visit Kedarnath. 0.26 grams of LSD has been recovered from the pilgrim.

SP Akshay Prahlad Konde said that the accused had ordered the drugs through post. Which he was planning to consume himself. The SP said that this is the first case of recovery of this type of drugs during the Kedarnath Yatra (Drugs recovered from pilgrim who came to Kedarnath Dham) and at the local level. The Dehradun NCB team is investigating the entire matter.
