On Sunday, MP Kangana Ranaut reached Mandi to visit. She took stock of the damage caused by the disaster at the ground level. During this, when the media asked her a question about helping the people, she laughed and said, “I do not have any cabinet, I have two brothers, who keep walking together. This is my cabinet and this is my everything.” Kangana further said, “I do not have any relief and disaster fund and I do not have many officers. An MP has a limited work, which is up to the Parliament. We tell people again and again, still we reach there with our condolences. But those whose job it is do not show their face. They are sitting hiding their faces. They are sitting after eating people’s money. Still, whatever is in my favor or in my scope of work, I will bring help from the Center.”

Opposition targeted Kangana

Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh targeted Kangana Ranaut on this statement. Sharing a post on social media, he wrote, “There is no need for a chair to help someone. Whether there is a cabinet or not, it is necessary to have strong will power. It was sad to see how this whole subject was being ridiculed.”
