There is another heart breaking news from the film industry. After Mukul Dev and Shefali Jariwala, another star has passed away. The special thing is that this star is associated with the blockbuster film ‘Bahubali’. Famous musician MM Keeravani’s father and famous lyricist Shiv Shakti Dutta has passed away. He breathed his last at his Manikonda residence in Hyderabad at the age of 92. He was struggling with age related problems for a long time.

Shiv Shakti Dutta is no more

Shiv Shakti Dutta was not only a lyricist but also a screenwriter, director and producer in Telugu cinema. The special thing is that he wrote the title track ‘Saahore Baahubali’ of Prabhas’ blockbuster film Baahubali. The news of his death sent a wave of mourning across the industry. His fans are paying tribute on social media.

Pawan Kalyan expressed grief

After the death of Shiv Shakti Dutta, actor, leader and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan paid tribute on social media. He wrote- ‘Deeply saddened by the news of Shri Shiv Shakti Dutta’s demise. He was a true lover of art and literature. His songs have a wonderful blend of Sanskrit and Telugu. My condolences to his family.’

Chiranjeevi’s eyes became moist

Megastar Chiranjeevi also expressed his condolences and paid tribute to Shiv Shakti in Telugu language. He wrote, ‘Shri Shiv Shakti Dutta was a painter, scholar of Sanskrit language, writer, storyteller and a man of many talents. I am deeply shocked by the news of his demise. I pray to God that his soul may rest in peace… I express my deepest condolences to my friend and his family members.’

Wrote many blockbuster songs

Shiv Shakti Dutta wrote songs for superhit films like ‘Bahubali’, ‘RRR’, ‘Magadheera’, ‘Rajanna’ and ‘Shriramadasu’ in his career. The songs written by Dutta had a glimpse and depth of mythology. Songs like ‘Saahore Bahubali’, ‘Ramam Raghavam’, ‘Mamata Thalli’ and ‘Amma Avani’ are etched in the memories of the audience.

Datta also tried his luck in direction and screenwriting. He directed a film like ‘Chandrahas’ and was associated with Nagarjuna’s film ‘Janaki Ramudu’ as a screenwriter.
