Uttarakhand: Secretary level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, CS directed all departments to prepare a presentation of best practices

In the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed all the officers to prepare best practices (success stories) of their better departmental work. He said that best practices should include such a unique initiative which has not been done by any state or which is different from others. Prepare a presentation of the best practices, be it institutional or personal.

He instructed all the secretaries to take information about the best work being done in their departments and prepare a compilation of them as best practices. So that people can get inspiration to do better work.

The Chief Secretary said that there is more possibility of best practices in departments like IT, Agriculture, Horticulture, Child Development, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Cooperatives, Animal Husbandry, Forest Department, Education, Technical Education, Higher Education, Health, Higher Education, AYUSH etc.

The Chief Secretary directed all the secretaries to implement various development works, government schemes and programs in a better way so that the public can get maximum benefit from it. He directed all the departments to focus on operating their departmental functioning through online medium as much as possible. So that an open, transparent, easy and systematic functioning and system can be developed. Ensure strict compliance of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned secretaries to ensure strict compliance of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act – 2007 so that our senior citizens can live their old age with dignity with the capital of knowledge and experience. He directed all the District Magistrates to ensure strict compliance of this Act. Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, LL Fanai and Pradeep Pant, Secretary Amit Sinha, Nitesh Kumar Jha, Ravinath Raman, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Dr. Sridhar Babu Adyanki, Chandresh Yadav, Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, Deependra Kumar Chaudhary, Vinod Kumar Suman, Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Dheeraj Singh Gabbariyal were present in the meeting.
