The England and Wales Cricket Board has announced its squad for this ODI series, in which captain Nat Siver Brunt, who was ruled out due to sudden injury during the T20 series, has returned.

If we look at the 15-member England women’s team for the three-match ODI series against India, apart from captain Nat Siver Brunt, spin all-rounder Sophie Ecclestone and Maya Boucher have also returned to the squad. England women’s team head coach Charlotte Edwards said on the announcement of the team that we have seen a lot of pressure in the 3 matches of the T20 series so far, in which we also got to learn a lot as a team. At the same time, better performance will be expected from the players in the ODI series as well.

England women’s team captain Nat Siver Brunt was injured during the second match of the ongoing T20 series against Team India, which was played at the Bristol ground, due to which it was decided to give her rest from the remaining three matches of the series. Now the team management has announced the squad for the ODI series and has expressed confidence that captain Brunt will be seen playing in the ODI series after being fully fit.

Talking about the schedule of this three-match ODI series, the first match will be played on July 16 at the Rose Bowl ground in Southampton. The second match will be played at Lord’s on July 19, while the third and last match of the series will be played on July 22 at the Chester-le-Street ground.
