Uttarakhand: Rain wreaks havoc, cloud burst in Dharchula’s Darma Valley, chaos in the area

A cloud burst near Teejam village in Darma Valley located in Dharchula tehsil of Pithoragarh district late on Tuesday night. After which people sleeping in their homes panicked. There is currently an atmosphere of chaos in the area. As soon as morning came, the rescue team left for the spot.

According to local villagers, the cloud suddenly burst after heavy rain at 12 o’clock late night. Due to which the wooden foot bridge connecting Teejam village has been washed away. Not only this, some other small foot bridges are also reported to have been washed away. Due to this, the mutual contact of the villages has completely broken.
Rescue team left for the spot
The villagers first informed the administration about the incident through a video made by themselves. At present, there is no news of any casualty. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the administration has immediately dispatched the rescue team. The water level of the rivers has increased since the cloud burst.
