The sudden flow of water in Shernala completely blocked the road. As a precaution, the administration has deployed police force on both sides of the drain, so that no driver crosses the drain by taking risks. People going from Haldwani to Khatima and Champawat are facing difficulties.

Due to the overflowing of Shernala, long queues of vehicles have formed on the road and people are stranded for hours. At present, the district administration is trying to open the road, but the fast flow of water is becoming a big obstacle in this.
