Uttarakhand: Heavy rains cause damage in Raipur area, CM Dhami did a field inspection of the affected areas

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday conducted a field inspection of the areas affected by heavy rains under Raipur area in Dehradun. During this, the CM met the local people and also heard their problems.

CM Dhami on Thursday conducted a field inspection of the areas affected by heavy rains under Raipur area. The CM along with the officials met the local people at Kirsali Chowk, IT Park, Nanurkheda, Amwala, Tapovan, Shanti Vihar and heard their problems. During the inspection, the CM directed the district administration to provide all possible help to the affected people.

Drains should be cleaned regularly: CM

The CM directed the concerned officials to clean the drains regularly and make proper arrangements for drainage in waterlogged areas. The CM directed to install warning boards while taking precautions in sensitive areas. The CM also directed the local administration to remain on alert mode. The CM said that everything possible should be done to protect the lives and property of the affected people while keeping the response time to a minimum.
