The accident took place on Saturday evening. A truck coming from Rishikesh towards Srinagar collided with a bike coming from the opposite direction. The bike riders died tragically on the spot in the accident. It is being told that both the youths were returning to Rishikesh after visiting Hemkund Sahib. During this, this tragic accident took place near the Bagwan liquor shop.

Both the youths died tragically in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Manpreet Singh (28) son of Lakhveer Singh resident of Patiala, Gurdeep Singh (22) son of Vindar Singh resident of Patiala. It is being told that both the youths were returning from Hemkund Sahib towards Rishikesh. During this, this accident took place. The police have taken possession of the bodies of the deceased and sent them for post-mortem.
