In fact, Gopal Khemka was murdered on July 4, sand trader Ramanand Yadav on July 10 and Vikram Jha, who runs Trishna Mart, was murdered on the night of July 11. All three murders were committed in Patna, after which it is natural to raise questions on law and order. Let us tell you that after the murder of industrialist Gopal Khemka, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a high-level meeting in the Sankalp Room at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding law and order. During this, he instructed the DGP to identify the culprit by thoroughly investigating the reasons for the crime and ensure strict action in this case without any discrimination. CM Nitish had made it clear that if there is any kind of conspiracy behind the incident, then it should also be investigated and after that strict action should be taken.
Law and order is the highest priority: CM Nitish
In a high-level meeting held on law and order, CM Nitish took detailed information from the DGP of Bihar. He had instructed the officials that no laxity should be shown in crime control. There was also talk of taking strict action against the officials and policemen who are negligent. In the meeting, the DGP had given detailed information to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar about the steps being taken to control crime. During the review, the Chief Minister had said that law and order is the top priority of the government. Whoever commits crime should not be spared at any cost. Apart from this, instructions were also given to expedite the investigation of criminal incidents and complete it in a short time. Its purpose is to bring the criminals to the dock of justice as soon as possible.
Criminal incidents are happening continuously in Bihar. Crime is not stopping. The shocking figure of murder of 31 people within just 11 days has come to light. In the capital Patna, criminals are targeting businessmen every day. The series of murders that started with the murder of famous businessman Gopal Khemka on 4 July is increasing. After him, a sand trader and on the night of 11 July, a grocery shop owner were shot dead.
