Weather will remain bad in Uttarakhand, alert of heavy rain in these districts including Dehradun, stay alert

These days, the rainy season is continuing in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in four districts of the state and lightning in the hilly districts and strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour.

Heavy rain alert in these districts including Dehradun

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department, Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Nainital and Bageshwar districts on July 12. While in the remaining districts of the state, there are chances of lightning with thunder and heavy rain at some places.

How much rain fell where?

Let us tell you that within the last 24 hours, 51 mm rain was recorded in Kanda, 44 mm in Dharchula, 29 mm in Sahastradhara, 26 mm in Bhimtal, 25 mm in DDhat, 12.5 mm in Berinag, 12 mm in Kanalichhina, 6 mm in Karnaprayag, 6 mm in Nainital, 5.5 mm in Almora.

Weather will change again after 13th July

According to meteorologists, monsoon activity is intact in all the districts of the state. He said that there is a possibility of further increase in monsoon on Sunday, 13th July. After which there may be heavy rain in the plains as well. According to the weather director, the rain will continue for the whole week. Several rounds of rain will be seen in different parts of most of the districts. In such a situation, he has instructed people to be cautious.
