Let us tell you that a few days ago, a student studying law in Kolkata was also raped in the college campus. The police have arrested a total of four people including the main accused in this case, Monojit Mishra. This case is also still under investigation. Police investigation is underway in the gangrape case of a law student in Kolkata. Police sources have said that the main accused Monojit Mishra alias ‘Mango’ Mishra already has 11 cases registered against him.
These cases include theft, molestation and rape. According to sources, Monojit Mishra used to get bail in these cases within a few days of being charged. This was the reason why Monojit had made such incidents a joke for himself. It is said that political protection and his angry nature have made him a history-sheeter and a serial offender.
This is how ‘Mango’ was caught
In the gangrape case of a law college student on June 25, the main accused Monojit Mishra, after committing the crime, had asked some trusted companions to stay in the college and keep a watch around the Kasba police station. The police station is about a kilometer away from the college. After this, Mango left the college with the other accused Pramit Mukherjee and Zaib Ahmed. The next morning, Monojit called a college official and asked about the police’s arrival. The same day, Pramit contacted a lawyer and both of them also sought help from many senior students of the college. But no one helped them.
