Uttarakhand: Important news for government employees, it will be difficult to buy goods worth more than 5 thousand rupees

There is big news for the government employees of Uttarakhand. The government has taken a big step towards strictly implementing the conduct rules for the government employees of the state. Now no state employee will be able to buy property or goods worth more than Rs 5 thousand without prior notice. In this regard, the Chief Secretary has issued clear orders to all the departments.

It will be difficult to buy goods or property worth more than Rs 5 thousand

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has directed that if the state employees want to buy any item, property or valuables worth more than Rs 5000, then they will have to give prior information to the concerned department. This order has been issued under the Uttarakhand Government Employees Conduct Rules. Instructions have been given to the Secretary, Head of Department and District Magistrate to follow the rules.

In the order issued from the Chief Secretary’s Office, instructions have been given to the secretaries, heads of departments and all the District Magistrates to strictly follow this rule from their subordinate employees. The order states that despite the rules, many employees are buying property without giving information, which is a violation of the rules. This will be implemented seriously by the administration.
