On the occasion of Harela festival, the BJP family planted trees across the state today under the leadership of state president Mahendra Bhatt. In his message, Bhatt said that Harela is not just a festival, but a symbol of the cultural consciousness of Uttarakhand, our traditional faith and our duty towards nature.

State President Mahendra Bhatt planted trees with workers in Vikas Nagar under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” on Harela festival. Harela festival reminds us of responsibility towards the motherland

This holy festival of Devbhoomi gives a sense of god-like and environment-covered form. Lakhs of trees are planted every year by party workers.
