By the year 2045, AI will eat up most of the jobs, it will not be able to do only this work

Ever since AI has been discussed, only one thing is being said that it will eat up human jobs. Something like this is also being seen. Slowly it is affecting human jobs. At the same time, some people say that it will create new jobs for people.
Meanwhile, Adam Door, Research Director of RethinkX, has given clear information in this matter. He has warned that AI and robotics are progressing so fast and if it continues like this, then by the year 2045, they will eat up most of the human jobs. This is because machines work much faster and at a cheaper level than humans.
AI will eat up most jobs by the year 2045
In an interview with The Guardian, Adam Door said that AI is becoming very intelligent. At some level, it is also replacing humans. It will be able to do most of the work currently done by humans in the next 20 years. He also told that there are some works which will not be affected by AI. Politicians, sex workers and moralists or jobs where trust is essential. AI will not have any effect on those jobs.
This was found in the study
He further said, “Thinking machines have arrived and their working capabilities are constantly increasing and they are not stopping. We do not have much time to prepare for this.”
Dor said that he and the research team have studied more than 1500 major technological upheavals that happened in the past. In which it was found that once a new technology gets its feet, it moves forward rapidly. Within 15-20 days, it replaces the entire system. AI is doing something similar. But this time the difference is that machines are replacing humans.
AI system will become more effective with time
According to Dor, the biggest impact will be on those jobs in which normal tasks are done or normal workflow is carried out. Millions of employees work in these jobs all over the world. With time, the AI system will become more effective. By the way, it will work better than humans in almost every sector.
It will not be able to do only this work
If they are to be believed, then in the future also there will be some works which will have to be done by humans only. For example, emotional intelligence, ability to take ethical decisions and work based on mutual trust. These are the areas where AI is still behind. But the challenge is that there are neither so many opportunities in these areas for the world’s workforce of about 4 billion nor will they be created soon.
AI’s godfather has also expressed concern
Geoffrey Hinton, who is called the “Godfather” of AI, has also expressed this concern. According to him, automation is going to knock very fast in general intellectual tasks like call centers, back offices, and clerks.
On the other hand, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Meta’s Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun have a slightly balanced view. They believe that while AI will affect old jobs on the one hand, on the other hand it will also give rise to new types of work and opportunities. But the nature of these jobs will be completely different. That means, what we call “work” today, its definition itself may change in the future.
