Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 5,400 crore in Durgapur, West Bengal. During this, he also attacked the Mamata Banerjee government. He said that no investors are coming to Bengal. Development here has stopped. He also said that due to TMC’s ‘goonda tax’, investors are afraid to come to the state. This kind of corrupt and fear politics has stopped the economic progress of Bengal and deprived the youth of employment.
In this rally, the PM said for Durgapur that it is not only a steel city, but also a major center of India’s labor force. The PM said that these projects will increase the connectivity of the region and will also strengthen gas-based transportation. In the public meeting, PM Modi said that these initiatives are important steps towards making India developed. We have to take Bengal out of this bad phase, and the projects that have started here today are a symbol of this.
Three fundamentals given to make a developed nation
Prime Minister Modi said that today the whole country is moving forward with a single goal. During this, he also gave three fundamentals to make India a developed nation by 2047 and said that the only way to do this is empowerment through development, self-reliance through employment and good governance through sensitivity. Working on these three fundamentals, the government is taking development to every corner of the country. BJP has seen big dreams for West Bengal. We want to make a prosperous West Bengal. All these projects are an effort to make this dream come true.
New technology to the factories of Durgapur and Raghunathpur
PM Modi said that work is being done with new technology in the factories of Durgapur and Raghunathpur. An investment of Rs 1,500 crore has been made to upgrade these units. He said that this will increase production and will also create employment opportunities for the local people. He also congratulated the people of West Bengal for this development.
Bengal’s youth forced to migrate
During this, the PM also said that today Bengal is going through a bad phase. There was a time when people used to come here from all over the country for employment, but today the situation has completely changed. The youth of West Bengal are forced to migrate. They have to go to other states even for small jobs. Bengal wants development and if BJP comes, Bengal will get the pace of development. The youth here will get employment.
गैस आधारित कनेक्टिविटी को बढ़ावा
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षों में देश में गैस कनेक्टिविटी के क्षेत्र में अभूतपूर्व कार्य हुए हैं। एलपीजी सिलेंडर आज हर घर तक पहुंच चुका है, और इस उपलब्धि की सराहना दुनिया भर में हुई है। ‘वन नेशन, वन गैस ग्रिड’ के तहत ‘प्रधानमंत्री ऊर्जा योजना’ को गति दी जा रही है। इसमें पश्चिम बंगाल समेत छह पूर्वी राज्यों में गैस पाइपलाइन बिछाई जा रही है, जिससे उद्योग और परिवहन क्षेत्र में नई ऊर्जा आएगी।
इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को माना विकास की नींव
पीएम मोदी ने बताया कि भारत के बदलते इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की वजह से दुनिया आज भारत के विकास की चर्चा कर रही है। सड़क, रेल, गैस, हवाई अड्डों जैसे बुनियादी ढांचे में हो रहा परिवर्तन ‘विकसित भारत’ की नींव रख रहा है। दुर्गापुर में भी इन परियोजनाओं के जरिए एक नया युग शुरू हो रहा है, जिससे लोगों की जिंदगी आसान और रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे।
