According to the International News Agency AP, this incident is of Nassau Open MRI Center in New York, America. According to the police, when the man went inside the MRI scanning room, the machine was already running. The man was wearing a thick metal chain. In such a situation, he got pulled due to the strong magnetic force of the machine. Due to which the man collided with the machine.

The husband came to get his wife’s MRI scan done

The name of the person is Keith McAllister. His wife Adrianne Jones McAllister talked to the media. In which she told that she was getting an MRI scan of her knee. Then she asked the technician to call her husband so that he could help her get off the table.

The wife told the whole incident

As soon as the husband went to her, the machine suddenly pulled him inside while twisting him. The wife said, “I told the technician- ‘Stop the machine, call 911 (emergency number). Do something quickly…’ But by then my husband had died. His whole body became limp.”

He was wearing a chain of nine kilos

The wife told that Keith McAllister was wearing a chain of 20 pounds i.e. about nine kilos. He used to use it during weight training. So far, there has been no official statement from the MRI Center Nassau Open in this matter.

The US ‘National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering’ has issued a warning that MRI machines have very powerful magnets. Which can pull wheelchairs, oxygen tanks as well as any metal object towards themselves very fast.
