There will be heavy rain in Uttarakhand today, Meteorological Department has issued alert for six districts

Heavy rains have been continuing in most parts of Uttarakhand since this morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for six districts including the capital Dehradun.

According to the forecast issued by the Director of the Meteorological Department, Vikram Singh, heavy rains are likely in some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts on July 21. In view of which an orange alert has been issued. Also, people traveling in sensitive areas have been appealed to be cautious.
Heavy rain alert in two districts of the state on July 22
If meteorologists are to be believed, the rain will continue on July 22 as well. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in view of the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at some places in Dehradun and Uttarkashi districts. Also, people traveling on the mountains have been asked to be cautious. In view of the forecast of the Meteorological Department, all schools and Anganwadi centers from class 1 to 12 will remain closed.
