Uttarakhand: Today is the second Monday of Sawan, a huge crowd of devotees gathered in Shiva temples, CM Dhami also performed Abhishek

Even amidst heavy rains, on the second day of Sawan, there is a flood of devotees in Shiva temples across the state. Since morning, there are long queues for darshan at Daridra Bhajan Mahadev Temple, Daksheshwar Mahadev and Tilbhandeshwar Shivalayas located in Kankhal, Shiva’s in-laws’ house.

Devotees of Bhole Baba are anointing Lord Shiva by offering Belpatra, milk and water. Pandit Krishna Kumar Shastri said that the second Monday of Sawan has once again brought the message that faith has immense power and the essence of life is in the devotion of Bholenath.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also worshipped Devadhidev Mahadev by anointing him in the Shivalaya located in the CM residence on the second Monday of Sawan. Along with this, Chief Minister Dhami prayed to Lord Shankar for the happiness, peace of all the people of the state and the progress of the state.
