CBSE has come up with a new rule to ensure the safety of students. Under this new rule, it has become mandatory to install CCTV cameras in all schools. This new rule has been implemented. Also, the board has also issued a guideline in this regard. The Central Board of Secondary Education has amended the rule and made it mandatory for schools. This will not only create a safe environment for children in schools. At the same time, their safety can also be ensured.

Now CBSE will keep a close eye on every student

According to the instructions issued by the board, it has become mandatory to implement CCTV system in all CBSE schools. These should be audio-visual recording. This recording will be secured for at least 15 days. If needed, it will also be kept for review by the officials.

Where will CCTV cameras be installed in schools?

Under this rule, CCTV cameras will be installed in all entry and exit gates of the school, all classrooms, lobbies, corridors, stairs, laboratories, canteen, library, store room, playground etc. It is mandatory to install audio-visual CCTV cameras at all places except toilets.
