Uttarakhand: There will be more speed in grounding of investment proposals received in Investors Summit, Dhami gave instructions in the review meeting of the Industry Department

While reviewing the Gamechanger schemes of the Industries Department organized at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to work more rapidly towards the grounding of the investment proposals received in the Investors Summit.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that to promote investment in the state, full attention should be paid to the facilities and conveniences of the investors. Instructing the high officials to personally maintain regular contact with the top fifty investors investing in the state, the Chief Minister said that investment friends should be deployed for the convenience of investors. The Chief Minister also directed to continuously monitor the process from ease of doing business, enterprise registration to land allotment and to make the single window system more simple.

The Chief Minister said that the number of beneficiaries under the CM Swarojgar Yojana should be increased further. This scheme is proving to be very effective in the state. So far about thirty-five thousand people have benefited from this scheme. Along with wide publicity of all the new policies brought in the state, efforts should be made to benefit more and more youth from these policies. Under the export policy, along with promoting the products of the state, people associated with export should also be encouraged. Along with giving priority to handloom, homestay and agro-based small industries in the hilly districts, the Chief Minister also directed to open youth incubation centers by linking the startup policy with the industry department.

In the meeting, Secretary Industry Vinay Shankar Pandey informed that under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor, an SPV has been formed for the implementation of the ambitious plan to build an integrated manufacturing cluster equipped with world-class infrastructure facilities in an area of 1002 acres in Khurpiya Farm. After the completion of this project costing Rs 1265 crore, about 22 thousand people will get employment. An amount of Rs 207 crore has been released by the Central Government for this project. To promote entrepreneurship, construction of flatted factories with a capacity of 280 units in Haridwar, 18 units in Pantnagar and 12 units in Selaqui is in progress.

Vice Chairman of Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vishwas Dabur, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, R. Meenakshi Sundaram and officials of the Industries Department were present in the meeting.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
