Uttarakhand: Breakfast and sleeping accommodation will be provided at cheap rates in medical colleges

MoU was signed between Government Doon Medical College, Government Medical College Haldwani and Sevadan Arogya Sanstha in the Secretariat today in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This MoU is related to the construction work of rest house for the attendants in Government Medical College Haldwani and Dehradun.

Cheap rest houses will be built for the attendants in the medical colleges of Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is making continuous efforts to improve health facilities. He said that the construction of rest houses for the attendants in these medical colleges will be a great facility. The family members accompanying the admitted patients will get a solution to the problem of night rest and stay.

A rest house with a capacity of 350 beds will be built

The CM asked Sevadan Arogya Sanstha to make this arrangement in AIIMS Satellite Center located in Kichha as well, to which the institution agreed. Under this MoU, Sevadan Arogya Foundation will build rest houses for the attendants in Government Medical College Haldwani and Dehradun. It is proposed to build rest houses with a capacity of 350 beds in both the medical colleges.

Know how much breakfast and rooms to sleep will cost

Let us tell you that in these night shelters, dormitories will be provided for night stay at the rate of Rs 55 per bed and two-bed rooms at the rate of Rs 300 per room. Also, breakfast will be provided at affordable rates of Rs 20 and food at Rs 35.

These rest houses will be operated and maintained by Sevadaan Arogya Foundation. 1750 square meters of land will be provided by Government Medical College Dehradun and 1400 square meters of land will be provided by Government Medical College Haldwani for the construction of rest houses. This MoU will be valid for the next 20 years.
