Uttarakhand: Sports University got its first Vice Chancellor, responsibility given to this officer
Taking another step towards establishing a sports university in Uttarakhand, the state government has appointed the first vice-chancellor and registrar of the university.
Amit Sinha becomes the Vice Chancellor of Sports University
According to the order issued by the government, Special Chief Sports Secretary Amit Sinha has been appointed the first Vice Chancellor of the Sports University. Let us tell you that this appointment is temporary. Until a permanent Vice Chancellor is appointed, Amit Sinha will perform the responsibility of Vice Chancellor.
Ashish Chauhan appointed as Registrar of Sports University
Ashish Chauhan has been appointed as the Registrar of the University as Sports Director. Apart from this, Finance Officer of Sports Directorate VN Pandey has been given the charge of Finance Controller of the University. In the order issued by the government, it has been said that these temporary appointments have been made till the appointment of permanent officers or for a maximum of 1 year.
The three officers will conduct the activities of the university
Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that appointments have been made on these posts to run all the administrative work smoothly for the establishment of the university. The minister said that all three officers will conduct the activities of the university in the beginning. The minister said that preparations are being made for the foundation stone laying of the university on National Sports Day on August 29.
