Preparations for shifting of the largest Aadhat market of the capital Dehradun are almost complete. In such a situation, the process of allotment of plots to the traders will start soon. The Aadhat market of Dehradun is about 120 years old. Which will now be shifted to about 10 hectares of land in Brahmanwala on Haridwar Road in Dehradun. About 350 traders will be shifted in it. All the formalities of their shifting have been completed. In such a situation, it is expected that the process of plot allotment will start from next month.

430 traders have been identified between Dehradun’s Aadhat market as well as Tehsil Chowk who need to be shifted for road widening. Under the Aadhat Bazaar shifting project, 350 traders have chosen both the options of MDDA. That is, they have chosen the option of compensation or plot at a new site. At the same time, there are 80 traders who have chosen only the compensation option. In such a situation, a total compensation of Rs 126 crore was estimated for all the traders. In such a situation, after the shifting of Aadhat Bazaar, the 1.55 km road from Saharanpur Chowk to Tehsil Chowk will be widened to 24 meters.

The size of the shops for the new Aadhat Bazaar has been decided. 15 shops of 15 square meters will be built. 07 shops of 20 square meters will be built. It has been decided to build 33 shops of 25 square meters and 110 shops of 60 square meters. 115 shops of 120 square meters will be built and 60 shops of 150 square meters will be built. Along with this, there will also be one shop of 95 square meters and one shop of 3162 square meters.

MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that the construction work of the place where Aadhat Bazaar is to be shifted has been completed. Some shopkeepers will be given compensation, while some will get shops at the new place. The list has been prepared for this. On which the agreement of the traders of Aadhat Bazaar has also been made. In such a situation, the process of distributing compensation to the traders will start soon. Apart from this, demarcation of the plot is going on at the new place. As soon as it is completed, the place will be allotted to these traders. He said that all the traders will be displaced in a proper manner. After which the work of road widening can be started.

When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
