Uttarakhand: Dhami government again changed the names of schools, also approved a budget of Rs 62 crore for the maintenance of drinking water schemes

The Dhami government of Uttarakhand has once again changed the names of many government schools. Recently also the Dhami government had changed the names of some places and schools in the state, which was opposed by the Congress. Now again the government has changed the names of many schools.

Names changed of these schools: According to the information received from Uttarakhand CMO, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has changed the names of various schools in the state, including Government Inter College Chipalghat Pauri Garhwal has been renamed as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rawat Government Inter College Chipalghat, Pauri Garhwal. Government Higher Secondary School, Maindrath (Chakrata) Dehradun has been renamed as Pandit Sairam Government Higher Secondary School, Maindrath, (Chakrata) Dehradun.

Names changed of other schools:

  1. Government Higher Secondary School, Pundergaon, Pauri Garhwal will now be known as Freedom Fighter Late Kunwar Singh Rawat Government Higher Secondary School, Pundergaon, Pauri Garhwal.
  2. Freedom fighter late Shri Madho Singh Jangpangi will now be known as USIC DDhat Pithoragarh.

Along with changing the names of schools, the government has also approved many schemes and their budget. Among these, a budget of Rs 62 crore has been approved for the maintenance of pumping drinking water schemes, urban drinking water schemes and rural drinking water schemes under the maintenance of Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan and Drinking Water Corporation. Rs 11.04 crore has been approved for multi-level parking and multi-purpose building construction work in Pati development block of Champawat district, Rs 4.66 crore has been approved for reconstruction/improvement, asphalting work while converting Chitai Petshaal Bhetadagi motor road (Petshal-Bamanswal-Suwakhan) into a motor road in Jageshwar under the assembly constituency of Almora district.

The Chief Minister has approved Rs 83 crore for the construction of a span bridge and approach road on the local Levada river on the Chakarpur-Ghansara road in Bajpur assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district.

Rs 16 crore for the construction of car parking near Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath development block of Rudraprayag district.

18 lakh for making DPR of tunnel parking in Ganganai (Garam Pani) near Janakichatti in Uttarkashi district.

The Chief Minister has also approved the construction of a bridge over the Levada river on the Sardar Nagar-Bajpur-Keshowala-Bannakheda-Bailpadav-Kotabag-Kaladhungi motor road in Bajpur assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
