New bus stands are being constructed to extend the services of the Transport Corporation to the villages. Now the process of constructing a new bus stand has been started in Chaubari on Badaun Road. Three acres of land has been selected. SDM and ARM along with the regional MLA inspected the selected site. After the land of the Revenue Department is transferred to the Transport Corporation, the estimate will be sent.

The government intends to build bus stands all around the city, so that along with smooth traffic, the problem of jam can be solved. Under this, Cantt MLA Sanjeev Agarwal had demanded to construct a bus stand in Chaubari. After getting approval from the government, the land has been selected. The old bus stand is in the midst of a dense population. There is pressure of buses due to less space at the satellite bus stand as well.

To reduce the pressure of buses on both the bus stands, the construction of a new bus stand is already going on in Izzatnagar at a cost of Rs 16.72 crore in 2.285 hectares. More than 60 percent of the work has been completed here. The action plan to operate 210 buses from here has been decided. Land has been marked for building a new bus stand at Nawabganj Tehsil headquarters.

Now the process of building a bus stand at Chaubari has been started. Approval has been received on the demand of the Cantt MLA. ARM and SDM had already inspected and marked the land. On Saturday, SDM Sadar Pramod Kumar, ARM Bareilly Depot Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava along with Cantt MLA also reached to take stock. Three acres of government land has been found here.

The MLA directed the SDM to get the selected land transferred to the Transport Corporation soon and start the construction process. He will lobby at the government level and get the estimate approved soon and make every effort to get the budget allocated. With the construction of this bus stand, it will be easy for those going towards Badaun, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Rajasthan. People of Subhashnagar, Madhinath will get special benefit.

After the construction of Izzatnagar and Chaubari bus stands, the pressure of buses on the old bus stand and satellite bus stand will be reduced. If buses start operating from outside the city, then the problem of jam will also be relieved. ARM said that the land will be transferred at the level of District Magistrate.

After this, the estimate will be sent to the government. Construction will start after the allocation of budget. During this, BJP District Vice President Arun Kashyap, Sanjeev Chauhan, Rajesh Mishra, Brijesh Mishra, Shyam Singh Chauhan, Saurabh Chauhan, Chandrapal Arya, Golu Saxena, Dharmendra Sharma, Monu Mishra, Sachin Rajput etc. were present.

Chaubari will develop, employment opportunities will increase

A 29.95 km ring road is being built from Dhantia village located at Jhumka Chauraha to Shahjahanpur Road near Invertis University via Chaubari. This will change the picture of Chaubari. On the other hand, the Bareilly-Mathura National Highway is being widened. Once the bus stand is built, Chaubari will develop rapidly and employment opportunities will also be created.

Satellite bus stand stuck in the headquarters

The satellite bus stand is to be developed on the PPP model. After getting approval from the government, the responsibility has also been given to the Gujarat based organization. There is army land near the bus stand. According to the army standards, a building more than three storeys cannot be constructed here. Whereas the implementing agency was preparing to construct a multi-storey building here. This matter is still pending at the government level.
