China rebukes, America consoles, Pakistan is going to be trapped in a strange situation

Pakistan is once again trying to strike a balance between the US and China. This time its method is a little different. Pakistan’s government and army are simultaneously trying to strengthen their relations with two enemy countries. India is keeping a close watch on this entire development. Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir cancelled his pre-scheduled visit to Sri Lanka and Indonesia and suddenly reached China. There he met China’s foreign minister Wang Yi and senior army officers.

While Munir was in China, Pakistan’s foreign minister Ishaq Dar was on a visit to the US and he held talks with US foreign minister Marco Rubio there. Pakistan had gone there thinking that two factions of the world would simultaneously consider it their close friend. But what has happened between China and the US shows that Pakistan is stuck in a strange situation. While Pakistan is being reprimanded in China, the US is trying to console it.

Reprimand from China
China directly reprimanded Pakistan in the talks held in Beijing. China has clearly said that Pakistan should protect Chinese people, companies and projects. China warned that Pakistan will have to provide complete security to the Chinese people working in its country, especially in the case of big projects like CPEC. On the other hand, Pakistan’s efforts in America are pointing towards something else. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said in a meeting with American officials that he wants better relations between the two countries.

Ishaq Dar got stuck in America
Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has claimed that his country is very close to an important trade agreement with America. But during this time he also had to welcome the sanctions on TRF. Ishaq Dar said in a conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that he has no objection to the fact that The Resistance Front (TRF) has been declared a terrorist organization. However, Pakistan has shown its true colors here and also said that it will take action against TRF only after getting concrete evidence. Along with this, he said that it is wrong to link TRF with Hafiz Saeed’s terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. By giving this statement, Dar is also angering America. Because while banning TRF on July 17, America clearly admitted that it is related to Lashkar-e-Taiba.
