The Dhami government has come into action after the accident in Jhalwara district of Rajasthan on July 25. Late in the evening, CM Dhami called a high-level meeting of officials at the government residence. In the meeting, the CM directed that a security audit of all school buildings in the state should be done.

The CM directed that wherever the school building is repairable, it should be repaired soon. Also, where reconstruction is required, an action plan should be made and implemented soon. The CM said that children should not be made to sit in dilapidated and unsafe school buildings under any circumstances. The CM made it clear that any kind of negligence related to the safety of children will not be tolerated.
10 children died due to collapse of school roof in Rajasthan

CM Dhami directed to conduct a security audit of all the bridges in the state along with school buildings. The CM said that the bridges whose condition is deteriorating should be repaired and reconstructed on priority as per the need. It should be ensured that the condition of the bridges is regularly monitored and there is no loss of life due to dilapidated bridges anywhere.
