‘Saiyaara’ broke the records of all the highest grossing films of this year within 8 days of its release. Now only Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ is ahead of this film which released in theatres on 18th July and earned more than 600 crores.
After breaking the record of this year’s second highest grossing film ‘Housefull 5’, now ‘Saiyaara’ seems to be moving towards ‘Chhava’. However, only time will tell whether the film is able to go that far or not. But today, i.e. on the 9th day, the film has made another big record.
Box office collection of ‘Saiyaara’
According to official figures, the film earned Rs 175.25 crore in the first week and Rs 18.5 crore on the 8th day, making a total business of Rs 193.75 crore. Today, according to Sainclinc, the film has earned 22.69 crores till 9:10 pm and has collected a total of 216.44 crores. The data related to today’s earnings is not final yet. It can change.
‘Saiyaara’ becomes the second 200 crore film of 2025
This year many big films were released like Salman’s Sikandar, Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par and Ajay Devgan’s Raid 2, but no film could reach the magical figure of 200 crores. Only Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Housefull 5’ came a little close to it, but after reaching Rs 183.3 crore, the film’s earnings stopped.
‘Saiyaara’ has made a big record of becoming the second 200 crore film after ‘Chaava’ (Rs 601.54 crore) by earning more than 200 crores.
Screens of ‘Saiyaara’ increased
According to film critic Taran Adarsh, the number of screens of the film has been increased. While the film was released in only 2225 screens in the first week, now it has been increased to 3650. Due to this, the film’s earnings can now see a further increase.
Looking at the way the film is earning, it seems that the film will soon cross the 250 crore mark and due to the increase in screens, 300 crores also does not seem far away.
Budget and star cast of ‘Saiyaara’
Directed by Mohit Suri and starring Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda, this film has been made on a modest budget of Rs 60 crore. The film has been made under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
