According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat and Bageshwar districts on July 28. In view of which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.

The weather will remain bad in the state till July 31

After the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the district administration has appealed to the people to take precautions. Also, it has been advised to stay away from rivers and streams. If meteorologists are to be believed, the mood of the weather in the state will remain bad till July 31. In such a situation, people have been advised to travel in the mountains only after seeing the weather update.
