The history of war between India and Pakistan is old, however, instead of raising such issues, India is trying to join the world’s leading economies by focusing on its development. On the other hand, it seems as if nothing has changed in Pakistan in all these years, it is still surviving on debt. The reason for this is that it never thought about its own development and today it is standing in the United Nations and talking about the development of Gaza.

Pakistan’s own condition is so bad that the people are struggling for their basic needs. Instead of paying attention to this, its foreign minister is raising the issue of resettling Gaza in the UN. Pakistan, which is spreading terrorism in India itself, is taking more interest in the issues of Israel and Palestine than in its own country.

Pakistan has once again tried to fly high on the foreign policy front by ignoring its internal problems. At a high-level conference held at the United Nations, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar appealed to grant Palestine full membership of the United Nations and implement an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Dar said in his speech that the injustice that has been going on in Palestine for decades is not only a political failure, but it is also a moral stain on international peace and security. He welcomed France’s decision to recognize Palestine as an independent nation and appealed to other countries to do the same. Dar demanded an unconditional permanent ceasefire in Gaza and other Palestinian areas and said that food and medicines should reach the citizens.

Pakistan itself is in debt

Pakistan is saying these things at a time when it itself is struggling with a deep political and economic crisis. Inflation, unemployment, religious fanaticism, human rights violations are at their peak in areas like Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa within the country. Many states of his country are rebelling and in such a situation, Pakistan’s preaching to the world on the Palestine issue wearing the glasses of morality is not acceptable. He is talking about helping Palestine when he himself is living on the IMF loan. Pakistan is making strides in international politics but he should first look at his country, which is asking for bread, not speeches.
