But when the ballot box opened, her social media shine was dashed. She got only 55 votes. Her rival Radhika Devi won by getting 79 votes.
Deepa Negi also lost
Deepa Negi, the star of ‘Deepa Negi Pahadi’ channel, was in the fray from Ghimtoli village in Rudraprayag. She has around 1.28 lakh subscribers on YouTube. Despite having a strong presence on social media, she got only 269 votes. Kavita, who was contesting from the same seat, defeated her by 480 votes. After the defeat, Deepa has also shared an emotional video.
Bhim Singh famous on YouTube, flopped in ballot box
Bhim Singh has 21,000 subscribers on YouTube and 24,000 followers on Facebook. He was contesting from Bachhinagar Gram Panchayat of Haldwani. But he got 955 votes. While his rival Harendra Singh won by getting 1,534 votes.
