Uttarakhand: CM inaugurated 13 model Sanskrit villages in 13 districts of the state, said Devvani will resonate in every district

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday participated in the program organized at the R.P. Vidyalaya in Bhogpur. During this, the CM inaugurated 13 Adarsh Sanskrit villages in 13 districts of the state. On this occasion, the CM said that in future, the government will establish government primary Sanskrit schools along with the construction of Sanskrit buildings in all these Adarsh Sanskrit villages.

The CM inaugurated Bhogpur village in Dehradun, Mukhem village in Tehri Garhwal, Kotgaon in Uttarkashi, Bainji village in Rudraprayag, Dimmar village in Chamoli, Goda village in Pauri Garhwal, Urg village in Pithoragarh, Jainti Pandekota village in Almora, Sheri village in Bageshwar, Kharkkarki village in Champawat, Noorpur Panjhanhedi village in Haridwar, Pandey village in Nainital and Nagla Tarai village in Udham Singh Nagar as Adarsh Sanskrit villages. During this, the Chief Minister also interacted with the people of various Sanskriti villages through virtual medium.

Efforts are being made to make Devvani Sanskrit reach the masses
CM Dhami said that the state government is working to make Devvani Sanskrit reach the masses by establishing Adarsh Sanskrit Gram in every district of Uttarakhand. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has been the center of study and research of Devvani Sanskrit for centuries. The state government is trying to keep the sacred flame of Devvani Sanskrit lit in Uttarakhand. The CM said that Uttarakhand is the first state. Which is working on the preservation and promotion of Devvani Sanskrit with such initiatives.

Sanskrit language is the basic foundation of our culture
CM Dhami said that Sanskrit language is the basic foundation of our culture, tradition, knowledge and science. The development of ancient human civilizations has been possible only on the basis of Sanskrit language. In Sanatan culture, Vedas, scriptures, Puranas and Upanishads have been composed in Sanskrit only. Sanskrit language is eternal and infinite. CM said that in the new education policy, special efforts have been made to establish Sanskrit as a modern and practical language. Sanskrit universities are being connected with modern resources.

Preparation to develop literature on online platforms
CM said that literature is being developed on online platforms, e-Sanskrit teaching platforms and Sanskrit apps. The central government has also started translating the proceedings of the Lok Sabha into Sanskrit language. The Chief Minister said that in Adarsh Sanskrit Grams, people will use Sanskrit in their daily lives, so that Devvani can once again become a part of speech, behavior and dialogue in our lives. The government is providing special scholarships to promote Sanskrit education in the schools of the state.

Students performing excellently will be honored
Chief Minister Dhami said that students performing excellently in Sanskrit language are being honored with Sanskrit Chhatra Pratibha Samman Yojana. For the promotion of Sanskrit, various programs like All India Research Conference, All India Astrology Conference, All India Veda Conference are being organized through Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar.
