Uttarakhand: Dhami expressed grief over the death of former Tharali MLA and former District Panchayat President Munni Devi Shah

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed deep condolences on the demise of former Tharali MLA and former District Panchayat President Smt. Munni Devi Shah. The Chief Minister has prayed for peace to the departed soul and to give strength to the bereaved family, supporters and well-wishers to bear this grief.

In his condolence message, Chief Minister Dhami said that late Munni Didi ji was a struggling and public representative dedicated to public interest, who always tried to live up to the expectations of the people in her political life. During her tenure, she made continuous efforts for the development of the area, especially the strengthening of rural infrastructure, education, health and women empowerment. Her simplicity, easy availability and sensitive approach towards public problems established her as a popular public representative among the people of the region. Her untimely demise is an irreparable loss in the political and social life of Uttarakhand.
