On August 5, a major accident occurred due to cloudburst in Dharali, Uttarkashi. Due to heavy rains, landslides occurred in which six people are reported dead so far. At the same time, many people are still missing. In this, 11 laborers from West Champaran are also missing. Most of the laborers are from Mangalhiya village of Sargatia Panchayat. They are being searched but till now they have not been found. In such a situation, now the family has prepared their effigies and cremated them. After which now they have started preparing for the Shraddha.

11 workers went missing in the landslide in Dharali of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Eight of these were from Mangalhiya village. While three laborers were said to be from Ghogha Panchayat. Three members of the same family are also included in these. Devraj Sharma and his two sons Anil and Sushil.

Preparations for Shradh after last rites, 11 people missing

Before the accident, the workers had talked to their family members. In which it was told that they are resting in the room due to rain. Shortly after, there was news of cloudburst in Uttarkashi, after which all their phones got switched off. All the workers are reported to be buried under deep debris. In such a situation, due to no news of the workers for a long time, their family members cremated them by making effigies of them. After which preparations for Shradh have now started.

Let us tell you that on August 5, due to cloudburst in Uttarkashi, the market, hotels, homestay houses etc. everything got submerged in water and debris within a few minutes. Dharali market is still submerged in debris. Rescue operation is going on. There is still a possibility of many people being buried under the debris.
