Uttarakhand: BJP’s district panchayat presidents elected unopposed in 4 districts, 11 block pramukhs also won, elections for the remaining seats on 14th

Many BJP candidates have won unopposed for the post of District Panchayat President and Block Pramukh even before the elections. This claim has been made by BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt has described the unopposed victory of BJP candidates as the public’s seal on the development policy of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The BJP president said that today, under the process of three-tier panchayat elections, the party’s authorized candidates have filed nominations for all 12 district panchayat president posts and 83 block pramukh posts. Out of this, BJP has made single nomination on four district panchayat presidents and 11 block pramukh seats, where BJP is going to win unopposed. BJP claims that BJP candidates have won unopposed on all four seats.
District Panchayat presidents were elected unopposed in these four districts
- Among them, the first name is Ramesh Chauhan from Uttarkashi.
- The second name is Anand Singh Adhikari from Champawat.
- The third is Ajay Maurya from Udham Singh Nagar.
- The fourth is Jitendra Prasad from Pithoragarh.
11 block pramukhs were elected unopposed:
- Anchala Bora from Champawat
- Chandraprabha from Kashipur
- Upkar Singh from Sitarganj
- Sarita Rana from Khatima
- Mamta Panwar from Bhatwadi
- Rajdeep Parmar from Dunda
- Rajesh Nautiyal from Jakhnidhar
- Suman Sajwan from Chamba
- Narayan Thakur from Vikasnagar
- Lata Devi from Pabau
- Meenakshi Arya from Takula were elected unopposed.
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt described the unopposed election of candidates as the beginning of the installation of triple engine of development in villages. State president Mahendra Bhatt said that one thing was already clear that the rural people of the state will use their votes only for regional development. This intention of the voters became decisive for all the elected representatives and in many district panchayats and area panchayats, no one filed nomination against BJP.
BJP fully respects the spirit of installing triple engine of development of all such public representatives and expresses its gratitude to them. He expressed confidence that in the same way, the development vote of the voters is going to be very important in all the remaining seats in the election process.
Let us tell you that today nominations were filed for the post of District Panchayat President and Block Pramukh in 12 districts, out of which four District Panchayat Presidents and 11 Block Pramukhs have won unopposed. Now voting will be held on the remaining seats on August 14. After the voting, counting of votes will be done on the same day.
