The courage of the miscreants is increasing in Haridwar. There was a stir near Ramnagar Chowk in Ganganahar Kotwali area on the evening of August 4, when bike-riding youths shot a person by firing openly on the road. After which there is an atmosphere of terror in the area.

The incident is of the evening of August 4, when a dispute broke out on the road between two parties over some issue. First there was a fight between the two groups of bike riders, then suddenly a young man took out a country-made pistol and fired at the other party threatening them. After the incident, the injured was taken to the civil hospital in critical condition, from where the doctors referred him to a higher center.
Three accused arrested
The police immediately registered a case against the accused and started searching and arrested three accused by raiding. The accused have been identified as Soheb resident Deoband, Gulsher resident Padli Gurjar village and Jaan Mohammad resident Charthaval area. The police have also recovered a country-made pistol used in the incident from the accused.
CCTV of Roorkee firing incident surfaced
The entire incident of firing and assault on the road was captured in a CCTV camera installed nearby. The police has released a video of the incident, which is rapidly going viral on social media. The police say that strict action will be taken against the accused.
