In Uttarakhand, BJP has claimed a landslide victory in the District Panchayat President and Chief elections. BJP has won 10 seats. Whereas, Dehradun District Panchayat seat has come to Congress. The result of Nainital District Panchayat President election will come on August 18. At the same time, Panchayat elections are held separately in Haridwar.
