A case of stunts with rally cars and bikes on the roof of Mall of Dehradun located in Dehradun has come to light. On the complaint of the mall management, the police have arrested the miscreants.

The incident is of 15th August. Nehru Colony police station received information that dangerous stunts are being performed with rally cars and racer bikes on the roof of Mall of Dehradun. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot. During investigation, it was found that two motorcyclists were pressing the accelerator loudly and emitting smoke from the vehicles and creating a ruckus.
The roof of the mall was given for parking
Both of them fled from the spot before the police arrived. On enquiry with the mall management, it was revealed that the roof was given only for parking and the rally car group had a lunch program at Aama Cafe. But during this time some people created a ruckus by performing stunts on the spot. Taking action, the police have challaned the organizers and the mall management.
Motorcycle and car of miscreants seized
The police have also arrested two miscreants. Also, the motorcycle and car involved in the stunt were seized under the Motor Act. The police have strictly warned the mall management not to organize such events in future without permission.
Investigation also revealed that the event was organized by a group called ‘In Drive Motor’. The mall management was only informed about lunch and parking in the cafe, but two miscreants from the group caused noise pollution and public inconvenience by doing burnouts.
