The monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Bhararisain, Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand, fell prey to uproar on the first day. When the Question Hour could not be held today on August 19, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that those who came to talk about law and order have themselves broken the law in the House and did not allow discussion to take place.

The first day of the monsoon session of the Assembly going on in Gairsain continued to fall prey to the ruckus of the opposition. Finally, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 11 am on Wednesday. As soon as the House started, the opposition started creating a ruckus, after which the question could not be held yesterday, while even after the lunch break, before the proceedings of the House started, the opposition started creating a ruckus. Meanwhile, several bills were introduced in the House by the government and after that the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 4:00 pm.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami termed the ruckus of the opposition in the assembly session as unfortunate. He said that even in the difficult circumstances of monsoon and disaster, the government brought the House to the center of possibilities and sentiments like Gairsain, so that serious debate could be held on the issues of the public.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the opposition talks about discussion on the matter of law and order, but today the opposition itself has torn the law and order inside the House. He said that the Congress today created a chaotic atmosphere inside the House and flouted the democratic norms.

Referring to the huge victory of the BJP in the Panchayat elections, CM Dhami said that the God-like people of the state have entrusted the responsibility to the BJP in the civic, panchayat and assembly elections, due to which the opposition is frustrated and disappointed.

He clarified that fair elections have been held in the state and even where the opposition parties have won, the government did not interfere. The Chief Minister accused the Congress that after the defeat, they repeat the habit of blaming sometimes EVMs, sometimes the Election Commission and sometimes the administration. He said that the government is fully prepared to make the state better, but the opposition is running away from the issues of the public and is only spreading confusion and chaos.

On the other hand, Congress MLA Qazi Nizamuddin says that the stubbornness of the government has reached its limit. He said that law and order was constantly violated under the protection of the government and now even if the opposition is raising this issue in the House, the government is not paying heed to it.

He said that Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya has been mistreated. Even now if the Congress does not demand a discussion on this important issue in the House, then what is the meaning of the opposition? Congress people say that the government should have stood up against the people spreading chaos keeping in mind the public sentiments away from electoral benefits, but by not doing so, the government itself is causing harm to the BJP.
