The attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is being condemned everywhere. All political parties have called this attack wrong. In this sequence, former Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has called the attack on Rekha Gupta wrong. He said that there is no place for violence in democracy. Let us tell you that this attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta happened when she was conducting a public hearing. CM Rekha Gupta conducts public hearing every Wednesday at the camp office located at Raj Niwas Marg. Like every time, this time also the public hearing started at 7 am. During this, the accused reached the Chief Minister at around 8 am and attacked him. The police caught the accused and took him to Civil Lines, while the CM was taken for medical treatment.

In police interrogation, the accused has been identified as Rajesh Bhai Khimji Bhai Sakaria, a resident of Rajkot, Gujarat. He is 41 years old. The police is interrogating the attacker to find out the reasons for the attack. According to sources, Delhi Police has contacted Gujarat Police in this regard. According to sources, the Chief Minister is under the observation of a doctor and after the incident, security has been increased at the Chief Minister’s residence. Senior Delhi Police officials are present at the spot and investigation is going on at the Civil Lines police station. According to the police, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) was present at the residence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
