Nainital-Betalghat case: CM Dhami takes big action, CO-Police Station Head out of district, investigation handed over to CBCID

Amidst the protest of Congress MLAs throughout the day in the House, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took major action in the Nainital-Betalghat incident in the evening. He directed to transfer the CO, SHO out of the district. Also, directed the Kumaon Commissioner to conduct a detailed investigation of the matter and the CBI to investigate the incident and the cases.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken the recent developments in Nainital and Betalghat seriously and has given instructions for fair and effective action. The Chief Minister said that the Kumaon Divisional Commissioner will conduct a detailed investigation of the entire matter and will submit his investigation report to the government in 15 days.

In view of the incidents, the Chief Minister, taking immediate action at the administrative level, has directed to transfer the Police Circle Officer Bhawali outside the district in view of the firing in Betalghat and other incidents. Also, the SHO Tallital will also be transferred out of Nainital district.
