Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a terrestrial and aerial survey of the Tharali disaster-affected area on Sunday. During this, he met the disaster-affected people at the Disaster Relief Center Kulsari. Also, he instructed the officials to streamline all the arrangements. During this, people looked emotional.

His eyes filled up on seeing the CM. The CM said that the government stands with the disaster-affected people in every difficult time. All possible help will be given to all the affected. On this occasion, the CM distributed relief cheques to seven people affected by the disaster.

The Chief Minister said that this disaster has caused immense grief to many families. We understand their pain. Said that relief and rescue operations are being conducted on a war footing. Departmental officials have been instructed to conduct relief and rescue operations on alert mode at all times.

The Chief Minister inquired about the updated status of the relief and rescue operations being carried out after the natural disaster in the Tharali area and also praised the relief operations conducted by the district administration. Along with providing immediate assistance cheques of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased and the houses completely damaged in the disaster, the CM also directed to make proper arrangements for the rehabilitation of the homeless people.

After which CM Pushkar Singh Dhami left for Tharali. Here he did a ground inspection in the affected areas including Lower Bazaar. He did a ground inspection of Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Betaleshwar Mahadev Temple. After which the CM left for Dehradun after conducting an aerial survey from Kulsari to Chepado.

The CM said that relief and rescue work is going on rapidly in the disaster. The injured are being treated by teams at home. While some injured have been rescued by heli and sent to AIIMS. All arrangements will be streamlined soon.

All the work is being done as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. Disaster affected families have been accommodated in safe places. Some road routes damaged by the disaster have been made smooth. Efforts are being made to make others smooth as well. Soon the power supply will also be streamlined in the area.
